About the Event

2025–2026 CREATE U.S. Open C.R.C. Asia-Pacific Championship in South Korea

The Asia-Pacific Championship is a regional qualifying event for the 2026 CREATE U.S. OPEN in the United States, bringing together outstanding VEX and CREATE teams from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The competition will invite teams from China (including Hong Kong and Macau), South Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. Alliance champions and Excellence Award winners in the VEX and CREATE events (excluding CREATE X and CREATE DRONE) will qualify for the 2026 CREATE U.S. OPEN in the United States.

Sub-Event

VEX Korea Open Skills Challenge

The VEX Korea Open Skills Challenge is a dedicated skills-focused sub-event held as part of the C.R.C. Asia-Pacific Championship at Yonsei University International Campus.

Korean teams can register for the Korea Open Skills Challenge to focus on programming and driver skills performance, using the same season’s VEX game. Results from the Korea Open Skills Challenge are recorded separately from the main Asia-Pacific Championship match rankings.

The Korea Open Skills Challenge provides a more accessible entry point for new teams and offers experienced teams an additional opportunity to showcase their technical abilities within the larger CREATE and VEX event environment.

CREATE

CREATE is a robotics and STEM education partner that works with schools, coaches, and student teams to bring competition-focused learning into the classroom through events like the CREATE U.S. Open and the C.R.C. Asia-Pacific Championship.

The organization supports teams with training resources, mentoring, and event planning so that students can design, build, and program robots that perform under real match pressure.

In Korea, CREATE collaborates with LEX Organization to host high-quality robotics experiences, including the C.R.C. Asia-Pacific Championship and the VEX Korea Open Skills sub-events.
